Value Chain
Sourcing
Repeat transactions with coconut traders and thousands of local coconut farmers.
Since 1986, Axelum sources fresh coconuts within a 200-kilometer radius from our Medina Plant. These densely-populated coconut areas are mainly composed of CARAGA, Northern Mindanao and Davao regions, which collectively account for around 30% of annual Philippine harvests.
Farming
Coconut farmers are trained in natural farming methods and provided coconut seedlings as replanting material to augment the population of coconut trees in the area.
We regularly deploy monitoring teams on the ground to ensure compliance with quality standards and safety protocols.
