Our People

We acknowledge our people as the fundamental asset of the organization. Our culture is hinged on the spirit of family values. Each member is considered a vital contributor to our success. We constantly introduce programs geared towards people development, ensuring a safe working environment, improving compensation, opportunities for career advancement, among others.

2022 People Highlights

Employee Welfare

We offer fair compensation to our people. On top of statutory benefits, we extend financial assistance, health insurance, bereavement support, flexible work arrangements and various types of individual loans at zero-interest amortization.

People Development

We believe that investing in people will translate to enhanced productivity, increased motivation and employee retention. We offer various internal and external training courses all-year round for skills development and career progression.

For 2022, employees underwent an average of 40 hours of individual training. In addition, the Board of Directors and Executive completed a short course on corporate governance.

Occupational Safety

Providing a safe working environment is our topmost priority. We adopt the Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit (SMETA) standards, the world’s most widely-used audit, to ensure safe working conditions, promote human rights and best labor practices within the organization.

For 2022, we recorded a total of 13,226,720 safe man-hours with zero work-related casualties. In addition, we conducted 35 safety drills as part of our business contingency program to maintain readiness in the event of emergencies.

Human Rights

We uphold the basic rights and dignity of every individual. We have instituted policies that safeguard human rights and promote fair treatment to all within the organization. We are proud to be considered an equal-opportunity and non-discriminating employer, who believes in a skills and merit-based criteria, regardless of gender, ethnicity, color, religion and indigenous backgrounds.

For 2022, there were no reported violations related to human rights.
